About TriState Bigfoot
TriState Bigfoot was founded in 2009 as an investigative research team seeking evidence for the existence of the North American legend referred to as "Sasquatch", "Bigfoot", "(Ohio) Grassman", etc. Our primary objective may be to collect evidence for scientific study but we also research the creature itself to try and establish a diet and migration pattern if one exists. We simply collect what we find that may be of interest and let you, the public, decide for yourself. We also take popular theories in the field and attempt to validate or debunk them based on science. For more information on Sasquatch such as the history of the legend and what to look for, check out the Bigfoot History page.
(Large potential footprint discovered in Kentucky.)
We use state of the art technology in an attempt to collect audio and visual records of reported activity. In order to uphold our reputation, we accept only the most professional and logical minded individuals to join our team that follow and adhere to strict guidelines. All of our members go through a training course on proper collection and documentation of potential evidence as well as a safety course and hazardous animal identification course before we permit them to go into the field.
We will also gladly research and investigate any other strange creature sightings you may have, please feel free to contact us via our Sighting Report form and tell us about what you've seen. In the event we feel we are not properly equipped to handle your case or if your case is outside of our travel range, we will happily refer your case to one of our network friends whom we feel are better suited for your case.
We do not charge a cent for our services, Our investigations are 100% free, we will not even accept donations. If you want to learn more about the process we undertake after your report is sent, please check out the Client Info page.
(Night vision cameras are one of the many tools in our arsenal.)
We keep all information and sighting records confidential. We will never release any of your information to anyone for any reason... period. We are discreet. If the sighting took place on your property, we arrive in unmarked vehicles and will not question your neighbors or let anyone know we're there. Your privacy is important to us, after all, you've trusted us with your report and investigation.
We understand you might be reluctant to report your sighting, our investigators have had experiences of their own that are extremely unusual. We have heard and seen it all. There is no need to skip reporting simply because you think we will not understand or believe it.
We hope to get to a point where science has accepted these creatures as reality and places a protective status on them. We will never harm a creature unless placed in a life or death circumstance nor do we disrespect their environment.
We do not trespass for any reason.
(Jay sets up the parabolic microphone and audio recorder for an investigation.)
We take what we do very seriously. We will never ridicule a report.. after all, if odd reports were normal, those of us in the paranormal field would be out of a job.
At TriState Bigfoot, we believe that research and education are key. We also believe that in order to conduct research properly, you need to study more than a television show. To check out TriState Bigfoot's book recommendation list, please click here.
If you believe you have seen or heard something you can not explain, feel free to fill out a Sighting Report.
